Event Navigation
Our Christmas concert this year focuses on the birth of Jesus, from Mary’s annunciation and Joseph’s lineage through to Christmas night itself.
Featuring music from Benjamin Britten’s early choral suite, Christ’s Nativity, alongside works by Bruckner, Pärt, Will Todd, Kerensa Briggs and Yshani Perinpanayagam, the concert will provide a fascinating musical insight into each composer’s reverence for this compelling story.
Join us for candlelight, mulled wine, mince pies and audience carols to get the festive season off to a great start!

Petros Singers is West London’s leading amateur chamber choir. We perform a wide variety of music – from baroque to contemporary, from large-scale works to exquisite miniatures – placing particular emphasis on vibrant and communicative singing.
Richard Bannan was a choral scholar at Clare College, Cambridge before embarking on a career as a professional vocal musician, arranger and teacher. He now sings as a Lay-Clerk at St George’s Chapel, Windsor and with many of the country’s major professional ensembles.
Andrew Wells has been Petros Singers’ accompanist since 1987. He plays for several other choirs and has frequently been rehearsal pianist for the BBC Singers and Symphony Chorus. As a composer, he has written in many diverse styles, with works being performed from London to Moscow.
