Annual Parochial Church Meeting
October 11 @ 12:00 pm
St Peter’s Annual Parochial Church Meeting (AGM) usually takes place in April each year, but this year was delayed because of COVID. We have now re-scheduled it for 12 pm on Sunday 11th October. All those who are on the electoral roll are welcome to attend and to vote.
We have a number of candidates for the PCC whom we hope to elect at his meeting. Existing candidates standing again this year are Jane Fryer and Caroline Illingworth. New candidates for the PCC include Zoe Fletcher, Jonty Graham, Miles McInnes, Clare Berry, and Henry Barda; and new candidates for Deanery Synod include Simon Brooke and Marie-Pierre Moines. Our thanks to Stephen Downer, Kathryn Park, Ewan Thomson, Nicholas Heaton, and Trelawny Williams who are standing down this year; we also express our thanks to David Broad and Elly Peers, both of whom stepped down during the course of the last year.
The APCM will be held as a physical meeting in church, but those who are unable to be present physically can participate via Zoom. The link for Zoom is
You will also need a passcode to access the Zoom meeting, which you will need to request IN ADVANCE from the parish office. Only those on the church’s electoral roll will be able to join. Please note that if you join by Zoom your microphone will automatically be muted, but you will be able to make comments or ask questions via the chat function, which will be monitored live during the meeting. We haven’t tried to use Zoom for meetings like this before, so do please text Heike on the day (on 07752 308048) if you have any difficulties.
You can download the ANNUAL REPORT for 2019 in advance; hard copies will be available on the day.
