Sponsor a BEST christmas box

BEST is a local company that focuses on children’s mental and emotional health and wellbeing. Sadly, due to the pandemic, we are unable to physically be in the schools where we regularly teach. However, not to be thwarted at this crucial time, we have created ‘BEST Activity Boxes’, delivered to the door, enabling us to continue to work in our belief that #mentalhealthmatters.

As we begin the annual countdown to Christmas, we are very aware that for some families, Christmas is not a time of celebration. For this reason, BEST has partnered with three local charities who are allhelping children in need this Christmas.

  • Shepherds Bush Families Project & Children’s Centre supports families facing homelessness, unmet housing needs and social and economic hardship.
  • Hestia Housing provides refuge for mothers and their children who are made homeless by domestic abuse.
  • Little Lives UK is a London based charity whose primary focus is to help disabled and disadvantaged children living in poverty by getting them the medical and psychological help.

Our aim this Christmas is to be able to donate as many boxes as we can to these charities for children who, through no fault of their own, are in these very difficult situations. Therefore, we are asking those that can, to donate a box this Christmas and by doing this you will be providing a vulnerable child with some much-needed fun throughout the holidays.

Our Christmas box (see attached image) is designed around Resilience, created around the story of Rudy the Resilient Reindeer and includes twelve art activities, games and mindfulness, along with a sprinkling of ‘BEST’ learning.

The cost of the box is £25 and includes delivery. If you would like to donate a box to these charities, please click on the following link https://www.best4learning.co.uk/product/activity-box/ and then click on ‘donate’ when choosing an option.

Sending much love to you and your families at this time.
