SPRA litter picking

Many thanks to all who joined the inaugural St Peters’ pickers litter picking before Easter. Much long-ingrained litter was recovered, ranging from small pieces of plastic to a bicycle tyre. A stolen ipad was recovered and returned to its grateful owner.

Mick, from the Cross Keys, is organising the second ‘litter pick’. Meet at the pub at 11am on Saturday 11 May.

Recycling bags and general rubbish bags, gloves, tabards, pick sticks and hand sanitiser will be provided. Each group will do about an hour and return to the Cross Keys, where a free tea or coffee awaits, along with kids drinks.
