Shakespeare in St Peter’s Square

It is with tremendous excitement that we embark upon the third year of Shakespeare in the Squares, with a new production of As You Like It, Shakespeare’s enchanting comedy of love, desire and mistaken identity which we are setting in the late 60s/early 70s, with the bucolic atmosphere of a rural music festival.

The production will be directed by Tatty Hennessy who directed last year’s highly successful production of Romeo and Juliet. To buy tickets, or to see details of the production and the cast (when announced), please see our website at www.shakespeareinthesquares.co.uk.

The performance will be in St Peter’s Square, on Saturday 7th July, beginning promptly at 7pm and will be over by approximately 9.30 pm. The Square will be open for picnics from 5.30 pm.  Details of the bar and catering facilities will follow.
