Foodbank collection at church

In the light of the COVID-19 crisis, HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM FOODBANK are reporting that demand for food parcels has quadrupled, whilst donations of food have declined.

You can make a financial donation to them quickly and easily online via their website, or going direct to CHARITYCHECKOUT.

If you are able to make a donation of food, there will be a collection at church on Tuesday 2nd June from 1-3pm, and again on Friday 5th June from 10am-12pm. The church itself will not be open to visitors  but there will be representatives from the church to receive goods, and arrange delivery to the foodbank.

Currently, the Foodbank are in urgent need of:

• Long life/UHT milk and juice
• Tinned vegetables (sweetcorn, carrots, peas, tomatoes, potatoes, etc.)
• Breakfast cereal (not porridge)
• Tinned fish (preferably tuna)
• Tinned fruit
• Instand mash
• Pasta sauce in jars
• Tinned meat (corned beef, chicken, mince, hot dogs, meat pies, etc.)

But they have plenty supplies of (and so DON’T need):

• Feminine hygeine (pads, tampons)
• Baked beans
• Pasta
• Tea
