Bishop Graham Tomlin: Beyond Brexit

5th November 2019 @ 7:30 pm

Bishop’s Teaching Evenings, with the Bishop of Kensington, the Rt Revd Dr Graham Tomlin, at St Paul’s Church in Hammersmith.

“Looking beyond Brexit: a Christian perspective on the debate and how to bring the nation back together”

Bishop Graham had been planning to speak on the theme of the Incarnation, but in view of the urgency of the situation in the nation at the moment he has decided to speak instead on a Christian approach to Brexit. SPCK are publishing a short book he has written on the topic later in November. He will argue that the church may have a crucial role to play in reconciliation after Brexit, and the evening will aim to help us see how we might do that as well as to help people think in Christian way about the Brexit debate.

This evening will be delivered in various venues in the diocese, including:

  • 16 October – All Hallows Twickenham 7.30pm
  • 22 October – St Mary Abbots 7.30pm
