Jazz Goes to the Movies
Romance! Music! Magic! Addison Jazz sings songs that made – or were made for – movies and musicals of stage and screen. From 1937’s ‘Babes in Arms’ and My Funny Valentine to Barbie and 2025’s What Was I Made For?, these are memorable songs that will get your toes tapping.
The Jazz Choir not only have I Dreamed a Dream, they have A Million Dreams, are Joyful, Joyful for A Thousand Years, slink like The Pink Panther, And All That Jazz. The Ensemble is Defying Gravity with What Was I Made For, are Bluesette due to My Funny Valentine, but reflect that That’s Life and declare This Is Me. Together they look forward to Summer with a Slow, Hot, Wind.
