DESCRIPTION:Our curate Heike Prentice will be ordained priest by the Bishop of Kensington at All Saint’s Church in Fulham on Saturday\, 22nd June at 3pm. Tickets are free but limited\, so please EMAIL HEIKE if you would like to go. \n\nThe next day (Sunday 23rd June)\, Heike will be presiding at the eucharist at St Peter’s for the first time\, and we are very pleased that the Very Revd Nicholas Henshall\, the Dean of Chelmsford Cathedral (where Heike worked before coming to St Peter’s)\, will be coming to St Peter’s to preach on this important occasion.

SUMMARY:SPRA litter picking
DESCRIPTION:Many thanks to all who joined the inaugural St Peters’ pickers litter picking before Easter. Much long-ingrained litter was recovered\, ranging from small pieces of plastic to a bicycle tyre. A stolen ipad was recovered and returned to its grateful owner. \nMick\, from the Cross Keys\, is organising the second ‘litter pick’. Meet at the pub at 11am on Saturday 11 May. \nRecycling bags and general rubbish bags\, gloves\, tabards\, pick sticks and hand sanitiser will be provided. Each group will do about an hour and return to the Cross Keys\, where a free tea or coffee awaits\, along with kids drinks. \nVisit the SPRA website for more details.

DESCRIPTION:It was with intense sadness and shock that we received news in February of the tragic and unexpected death of our hugely talented and much loved director of music\, David Coram. David has been such a central figure to our life as a church community in his time here\, and St Peter’s was hugely important to him. We hold him\, all those who loved him\, and especially his two young children\, in our thoughts and prayers. \nFamily\, friends and colleagues from London and further afield are warmly invited to a memorial service for David\, at 2pm on Saturday 4th May\, here at St Peter’s. In the meantime\, a Book of Condolence is available in the church for those who want to write words of tribute.
