Remembrance Sunday

All are welcome to a celebration of Holy Communion for Remembrance Sunday, with the last post, laying of the wreath, and two minutes silence at 11 am.

A crèche is provided for babies or very young children during the service in one of the meeting rooms at the back of church; children in the crèche will need to be accompanied by a parent. Children are welcome to sit with parents during the service (colouring packs are available at the back of the church; do ask a steward as you come in if you would like one), or may prefer to attend the short Family Worship each Sunday at 9 am.

During the Act of Remembrance itself, we would ask you to step into the parish rooms for a few minutes if you have babies or very young children who would find it difficult to observe the silence.
