Crib Service

Lively, family-friendly and slightly chaotic beginning to Christmas, as we invite children to come dressed as Mary or Joseph, angels, shepherds, kings, sheep or any of the other characters, for an impromptu nativity with favourite carols. If we end up with three Marys and eight wise men, our view is the more the merrier!

Previous years have seen angels arrive on scooters decorated with tinsel, and a drone flying through the church as the star of Bethlehem! Arrive early to borrow one of the church’s own costumes if you don’t have your own, or if you’d like your child to do a reading.
